CWI Lighting, (“CWI Lighting”) warrant CWI Lighting fixtures to be free from defects in workmanship and material and to operate from the date of installation (or date of manufacture if installation date is not known or available)
If fixtures fail to operate within the warranty period, CWI Lighting will provide a free replacement fixture. If a socket fails to operate within the warranty period, CWI Lighting will provide a free replacement for that socket. Please keep in mind that all labor related charges are the customers responsibility.
CWI Lighting, (“CWI Lighting”) fixtures must be installed and operated under suitable environmental conditions and in accordance with The Canadian Electrical Code, Underwriters Laboratory Bulletins, National Electrical Code, and ANSI Specifications. This warranty will not apply in the event of conditions demonstrating abnormal use or stress, such as temperatures, under/over voltage conditions, dirty or cracked sockets, or improper fixture installation.
After contacting CWI Lighting, and receiving a Return Material Authorization Number, the user shall promptly return the product at the user’s expense to CWI Lighting, being instructed if, when, and where to ship product. Failure to follow this procedure shall void the claim.
The foregoing warranty shall be the sole and exclusive remedy of the purchaser and the sole and exclusive liability of CWI Lighting, NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS MADE OR IS TO BE IMPLIED. CWI Lighting, will not, under any circumstance, whether as a result of breach of contract, warranty, tort or otherwise, be liable for any costs or damages, including lost profits or revenues, incidental, special or consequential damages. CWI Lighting reserves the right to examine all failed light fixtures are reserves the right to be the sole judge as to whether any light fixtures are defective and covered under this warranty.
